Dan Daw

Dan joined a drama group in his small home town in Australia, and it was there that he got his first taste of dance.

He says when he dances it's like creating another world.

Dan is a dance artist and curator, but he also works in the British Council office, as a touring assistant.

He'd have to say it doesn't feel political when he dances, but the response he gets from audiences is political.

In this dance he's exploring the seen and the unseen and the gap that exists between, and how the function of his body arrives at the form.
